This journal is transcribed from a document held in the Archives of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Abner Jackson, president of Hobart College from 1858-1867, kept a daily journal. His daughter transcribed all the entries relevant to the College.
Assistant Professor of Art Michael C. Tinkler obtained funds from the Office of the Provost to have student workers transcribe the Journal so we can make it available to you here.
